Fairy Dusters at Grasslands
Fairy dusters adapt very well to the climate of the grasslands. The fairy dusters enjoy the heat, but they also resist droughts! The first thing you notice are the exotic flowers.Besides this plant also has a spiky stamen to protect itself. These plants forms power puff balls that are 1 to 2 inches across. As the plants dry they pop open and release their seeds. The leaves of the Fairy Duster are a deep green with a feathery look. By this characteristics of the looks of the leaves it seems they were more from the Tropical Rainforest, but they are not they live at Grasslands. It is an evergreen plant even though it loses some leaves during the winter. Even though the Fairy Duster resists droughts they have a hard time during the winter because if the temperature goes under 25 degrees Celsius the tips of their branches may get damaged. As I have said before this plants love our heat, so there is no place too hot for them. Also as noted before they are drought tolerant so if you want to grow some put them close to the window and water them not so often!
