Jack Pines at the Taigas
The Jack Pine is located at the taiga. The jack pine is a medium sized type of pine. They are about 20 to 50 feet high. You literally need fire sometimes for the seeds to disperse. The needles are in pairs of two. The needles are important because the Jack Pine needs a lot of water to live so the needles help the Jack Pine preserve the moisture. The Jack Pine also needs sunlight so that is why the branches stretch so high because they need to receive sunlight to make photosynthesis. The Jack Pine also prefers to grow in loam soil.
